Happiness Is The Verdict

Life is full of happy highs and sorrowful lows. The funny thing about being happy is that you feel like you can do anything. Back-flips off the roof of your house, for instance, won't make your knee bones permanently reside in your chest cavity.

Perhaps reality isn't fit for happiness. Since, when happy, you feel better than the physical binds of our world. Is it a good thing, or a bad thing? How could being joyous be bad (with the exception of those who delight in the hurting of others)? Well it could be bad if you really DID decide to fling yourself off a rooftop, but otherwise it's essential to our human lives. This happiness.

We can be happy for others, but I think something that really delights us is praise. It's knowing that someone appreciates something we have done. Having the knowledge that we ARE capable of doing something that others like. Maybe we are made even more prone to imagining rainbows, when we know that we actually made someone else smile. Life is hard, not just for you, but for everyone. So easing other's 'suffering' might just work well to push yours away too. Humanity has witnessed stranger things after all.
